SUMMARY:3.B.T. Productions presents: Diversity in Film Vol. 2
DESCRIPTION:The Lindsay’s next Emerging Filmmakers Showcase features 10 locally made shorts and a panel of film industry professionals discussing the importance of telling stories from many different perspectives. \n\n\n\nPittsburgh-based 3.B.T. Productions is returning to The Lindsay for its second Diversity in Film talk and screening. 3.B.T was founded by local filmmakers Xayne Allen\, Delaney Hathaway and Charlie Grey in 2021. Their first Diversity in Film event took place at The Lindsay in April 2025. \n\n\n\nDiversity in Film Vol. 2 is set for Thursday\, July 23\, at 7 p.m. The evening will kick off with the panel discussion in The Lindsay’s Community Room and move to our Large Screening Room for the shorts showcase. Tickets are free\, and we recommend RSVPing in advance via the sign-up form on this page due to space limitations. \n\n\n\n“The first Diversity in Film event proved that there’s a real hunger for stories and conversations that reflect the full spectrum of our communities\,” says Allen. “This year\, we’re taking everything that worked and making it even bigger. Diversity in Film Vol. 2 is designed to create meaningful conversations alongside unforgettable screenings.” \n\n\n\n3.B.T.’s presenting sponsor for this event is Unity Concord Real Estate. They are also being supported by Valentour’s Family Restaurant\, the Association of Latino Professionals for America Pittsburgh Chapter\, and The Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Pittsburgh. \n\n\n\nThis year’s panelists are: \n\n\n\n• Adam Snook\, founder of 7to8 Production & Distribution. Snook works closely with this region’s independent film ecosystem. Wire\, a 7to8-produced film\, screened at The Lindsay earlier this year as an Emerging Filmmakers Showcase. \n\n\n\n• Lee Davis\, a film producer\, community advocate and founder of Lee Davis & Associates Consulting LLC. \n\n\n\n• Chanell Jones\, an actor\, music supervisor\, and founder of Streamline Asset Consulting. \n\n\n\n• Dr. Cathryn Calhoun\, the August Wilson African American Cultural Center’s director of education and community engagement. \n\n\n\n• Morgan McHenry\, a Pittsburgh-based special effects makeup artist. Her work on the 2026 Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project short The Ballad of the Bard earned a Best Make Up and Hair award and contributed to her team’s Best Film victory. \n\n\n\nAllen is confident that their conversation\, plus this opportunity to watch 10 fantastic shorts on the big screen\, will bolster 3.B.T.’s ongoing efforts toward “building a stronger creative community in Pittsburgh.” \n\n\n\n“We don’t want diversity to be a once-a-year conversation\,” he says. “We want it to be woven into the fabric of our local film community.” \n\n\n\n\n \n \n 3BT presents Diversity in Film Volume 2 Reservation Sign up\n \n \n InstagramThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Number of Tickets(Required)Phone Number(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Any Special Accommodations (Seating Accessibility\, etc.)?

SUMMARY:'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Preview Screening
DESCRIPTION:Watch Marvel’s latest web-slinging adventure a day early!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBuy Tickets Here!\n\n\n\n\n\nHave you been eagerly anticipating Spider-Man’s next big-screen escapades? Would you jump at an opportunity to have that experience before the film’s July 31 release date? \n\n\n\nThen you should definitely get your tickets asap for The Lindsay’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day preview screening on Thursday\, July 30\, at 7:30 p.m.! Tickets to this event and other Brand New Day showings are currently on sale. \n\n\n\nThis early screening will be introduced by Dave Bishop\, co-owner of Sewickley’s Big Bang Comics and Collectibles; and Phillip Thompson (aka DJ Big Phil)\, a multi-hyphenate artist and director of Collections in Black\, a documentary about Black comic book culture and contributions throughout history. \n\n\n\nSpider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth Spider-Man standalone film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s a direct followup to 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home\, which (spoiler alert) ended with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) voluntarily erasing himself from the lives and memories of his loved ones. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nCrime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name\, Peter has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city—a full-time Spider-Man—but as the demands on him intensify\, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence\, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced. \n\n\n\nThe all-star cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day also includes Zendaya as MJ\, Peter’s former girlfriend; Jacob Batalon as Ned\, his former best friend; Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner\, aka The Hulk; Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle\, aka The Punisher; Michael Mando as Mac Gargan\, aka Scorpion; and Stranger Things breakout Sadie Sink is an unspecified role.
