Holiday Extravaganza and Pop-Up
The Theater’s annual Holiday Extravaganza of seasonal favorites hits full throttle Friday, Dec.17, through Tuesday, Dec. 21. Celebrate with us:
- The 75th anniversary of It’s a Wonderful Life
- The trials and triumphs of the Griswolds in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
- The magic of quirky families and childhood wishes in A Christmas Story
- And the upbeat humor of Elf, including a sensory friendly screening on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m.
The holidays on screen will be joined by a first-time Holiday Pop-Up in the Community Room, with six specialty shops offering one-of-a-kind gifts from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, through Sunday, Dec. 19.
Browse for hostess gifts, unique presents, stocking stuffers and maybe a personal indulgence or two from: Bridget Rose Fine Stationery, social stationary and custom designs; FoxTower Woodworks, products handcrafted from a variety of woods; Groove On, fashion on the go; Little Moo, super soft blankets for all ages and high-quality baby clothing; Rabbit Hill Candle Company’s beautiful soy candles; and The WW Collection, seasonal and timeless gifts.
In the evenings, these shops will be joined by Big Spring Spirits, opening soon in the neighborhood, which draws its crystal water from the Big Spring of Bellefonte, a source officially recognized as having the Best Tasting Water in Pennsylvania. The state’s first LEED Gold-certified distillery, Big Spring Spirits focuses on partnering with communities, local farmers and artisans. Samples of their smooth whiskeys, gin and vodka might be the only convincing the 21+ crowd needs to discover another great gift-giving possibility from a Pennsylvania-proud company.
