13 things to do this weekend in Pittsburgh
Sunday, Feb. 16, 2 p.m.: Oscars Talk at The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center
Binge-watching the Oscar-nominated films this month and not sure which ones deserve your vote? Whether you are team Brutalist, The Substance, I’m Still Here or Wicked, The Lindsay is here to help.
The Sewickley-based nonprofit theater is convening a panel of local film critics and aficionados from the Pittsburgh Film Critics Association, Associated Press, The Contending, Pittsburgh City Paper and Pittsburgh Magazine to “discuss all things Oscars.” Providing their take on this year’s nominations, the group will also take audience questions.
Academy enthusiasts and local cinephiles alike also are invited to participate in The Lindsay’s Oscars contest, which ends on March 1. The prize? A pass for free, unlimited movies for 2025.
