The Lindsay is open 365 days a year, and operational hours vary every day according to the films’ running times. The box office opens 30 minutes before the first film of the day and closes immediately after the last screening of the day is seated.
Tickets
To keep cinematic events as accessible as possible, ticket prices have not changed since the Theater opened in 2017. No need to wait for a matinee: Discounts for senior citizens, children, military and college students with IDs are available all day, every day!
The Lindsay will swap your tickets to a different time, providing you make the request by email (hello@thelindsaytheater.org) or phone (412-259-8542) at least 24 hours in advance of the original screening time.
All refunds, including credit card refunds, must be requested within 24 hours of the original screening time and must be made in person at the Box Office. Effective May 1, 2026, The Lindsay does not have the capability to offer credit card refunds over the phone. Refund requests must be made in person during the Theater’s operating hours.
Tickets for special events, film festivals or live shows are always non-refundable. The Theater typically does not control ticketing/admissions for these programs.
Please understand the ticketing system and contracts with studios do not allow for refunds or swaps with notification later than 24 hours of the screening. The Lindsay team will work in good faith with you to resolve the issue, which might include offering a pass for another show.

Snacks and Drinks
The Lindsay takes pride in offering the best of traditional movietime snacks. For starters, our popcorn is popped in coconut oil and topped with real butter, available at some of the lowest cinema prices in the region!
Because concession proceeds help to fund this nonprofit, we ask that outside food and beverages remain outside.Â
For those 21 and older who wish to offer a toast to their films, the Theater offers a BYOB option.
