Aging Series for Elders
These programs are designed to provide social interaction and mental stimulation for our elders through a fun “afternoon out.” The need to customize services to an often-overlooked demographic in a region with one of the highest percentages of seniors in the nation interlocks with seniors’ widespread desire to keep up-to-date on topics that impact them.

The first sessions in 2019 (Creativity and Aging, followed by Relationships and Aging) were at capacity with wait lists, drawing a wide, interested audience for a film screening, live music and a panel discussion by experts, moderated by a physician specializing in geriatrics.
Efforts continue to secure sponsors to increase the regularity of these signature events. Those interested should contact [email protected].
