The Lindsay is hosting a sensory friendly screening of A Minecraft Movie on Saturday, April 12, at 9:45 a.m.
Tickets are discounted to $8.75 each, which is also the case for all sensory friendly screenings at The Lindsay.
A Minecraft Movie is the cinematic adaptation of the long-running video game franchise in which players gather materials and build pretty much anything they can imagine. The film stars Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks and Jennifer Coolidge.
A sensory friendly screening offers the option for families, children and adults to watch films together by lowering the volume, dimming the house lights and having a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.”
Staffing levels are increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone. To ensure the comfort of all guests, a sensory friendly screening is typically the only event scheduled at The Lindsay.
