Friday, Aug. 29: Kickoff for The Lindsay’s Documentary Series

Running through Sept. 11, the series kicks off this Friday at 7 p.m. with a showing of Rebel With a Clause. This film chronicles the experiences of Ellen Jovin, behind her Grammar Table in all 50 states. Director (and Jovin’s husband) Brandt Johnson follows Jovin around as she interacts with everyday folks who have equally passionate opinions about the English language. Tickets for this show, and the rest of the documentaries in the series, are $11.
