The Lindsay’s Annual Oscars Contest!
February 2 @ 12:00 am – March 14 @ 8:00 pm

Awards season is in full swing at The Lindsay. That means it’s time to enter our annual Oscars contest!
The rules are simple: Grab a printed Oscars ballot at the Theater, select one winner per category and return your finished ballot to our box office before 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 14.
The film buff who most accurately predicts the highest number of winners—matching the Academy’s Best Picture—will earn a non-transferable pass for free, unlimited movies for the rest of 2026!
We hope you prepared for the Oscars Contest by watching this year’s nominees here! The Lindsay has already shown most of this year’s Best Picture nominees. Stay tuned for more information about when we will play the 2026 Oscars Shorts—and, potentially, when we will bring back other Oscar nominees/winners.
Anyone planning to entering our Oscars Contest may also want to check out The Lindsay’s second annual Oscars Talk on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. This free, non-ticketed event will gather local film critics and experts Sean Collier (Shady Ave Magazine), Lindsey Bahr (Associated Press), Amanda Waltz (Pittsburgh arts journalist), Megan McLachlan (The Contending), and The Lindsay’s Josh Axelrod.
They will provide valuable insights on this year’s Oscars race and answer all your burning questions about the voting process, recent trends, individual category frontrunners and much more.
Sewickley resident Nick Lumley has won two of The Lindsay’s last three Oscars Contest. We’re looking forward to seeing if anyone can dethrone the reigning champion in 2026!
