Moms Eat First: Prioritize Your Health Forum

Moms Eat First: Prioritize Your Health Forum will take place in The Lindsay’s Community Room on Saturday, March 14, from 7:15 a.m.-noon. Tickets are currently on sale via Eventbrite.

Attendees will receive breakfast and participate in conversations about women’s health. Speakers will talk about health risk factors for women and tips to prioritize your health.

Topics of discussion will include heart health, risks for cancer, mental health, nutrition, hormone balancing, brain/gut health, parenting and osteoporosis.

Ticket-holders will have the option to purchase author and panel participant Kathy Sullivan’s book, Moms Eat First: 5 Principles to Prioritize Yourself and Create the Change You Crave.

Here is the schedule for March 14. Note: Speakers and times may be adjusted, if needed, to accommodate programming.

• 7:15 -8 a.m.: Breakfast and Networking

• 8-8:25 a.m.: Kathy Sullivan, author, Moms Eat First: Five Principles to Prioritize Yourself

• 8:25-9 a.m.: Dr. James Carter, medical director, Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine: Cardiovascular Health

• 9-9:30 a.m.: Lindsay Malone, integrative and functional medicine dietician, Practical Healing (Cleveland): Diet and Nutrition

• 9:30-10 a.m.: Table Discussion and Break

• 10-10:30 a.m.: Sandy Cooper, functional medicine practitioner, Practical Healing (Sewickley): Functional Medicine

• 10:30-11 a.m.: Apple James, licensed professional counselor, Samaritan Counseling (Sewickley/Gibsonia): Family Therapy and Mental Health

• 11-11:30 a.m.: Fitness/Exercise Presenter

• 11:30 a.m.-noon: Kathy Sullivan, author, Moms Eat First: Reflection Exercise and Closing
