‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Sensory Friendly Screening

Spider-Man is swinging back into theaters, and we’re ensuring that everyone can enjoy his latest web-slinging exploits!
We’re hosting a sensory friendly screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (rated PG-13) on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. Tickets for this showing are on sale for our discounted rate of $8.75.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which starts playing at The Lindsay on July 31, is star Tom Holland’s fourth solo film as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s wall-crawler. It’s the second film this summer featuring Holland and Zendaya, who both also have major roles in The Odyssey.
Four years have passed since the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker (Holland) is now an adult living entirely alone and serving New York as a full-time Spider-Man. As the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence.
The Lindsay has been proudly holding sensory friendly screenings since 2017. These screenings provide an option for families, children, and adults impacted by autism and other special needs to watch films together in a low-stress environment.
We lower the film’s volume, keep on dim house lights, and have a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.” Staffing levels are also increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone.
