‘Hoppers’ Sensory Friendly Screening
Enjoy Pixar’s latest animated adventure in a low-stress environment.
March 7 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Pixar makes films for audiences of all ages. The Lindsay is ensuring that everyone has a chance to watch this renowned studio’s latest animated adventure!
We’re hosting a sensory friendly Hoppers screening on Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. Tickets for this showing are on sale for our discounted rate of $8.75.
Hoppers, which starts playing at The Lindsay on March 6, is an original Pixar story about a teenager who becomes one with nature after her mind is transfered into the body of a robotic beaver.
In this world, scientists have discovered how to “hop” human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals as animals! Mabel, a lifelong animal lover, seizes an opportunity to use the technology, uncovering mysteries within the animal world that are beyond anything she could have imagined.
The Lindsay has been proudly holding sensory friendly screenings since 2017. These screenings provide an option for families, children, and adults impacted by autism and other special needs to watch films together in a low-stress environment.
We lower the film’s volume, keep on dim house lights, and have a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.” Staffing levels are also increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone.
The Lindsay usually offers sensory friendly screenings of every family-friendly film we play. Recent examples include sensory friendly screenings of Snow White, A Minecraft Movie, Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon and Zootopia 2.
