‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Sensory Friendly Screening
Enjoy Disney’s latest trip to a galaxy far, far away in a low-stress environment.
May 30 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Din Djarin and Grogu will soon return for the first time since 2023. The Lindsay is ensuring that everyone can enjoy their latest galactic exploits!
We’re hosting a sensory friendly screening of The Mandalorian and Grogu on Saturday, May 30, at 10 a.m. Tickets for this showing are on sale for our discounted rate of $8.75.
The Mandalorian and Grogu, which starts playing at The Lindsay on May 22, is the first Star Wars film since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. It marks the big-screen debut of Mandalorian mercenary Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu, who many know as Baby Yoda.
Jon Favreau (Iron Man) directs their latest adventure, which takes place after the events of The Mandalorian season 3. The Empire has fallen, and the fledgling New Republic has enlisted Din and his young apprentice to protect everything the Rebellion fought for.
The Lindsay has been proudly holding sensory friendly screenings since 2017. These screenings provide an option for families, children, and adults impacted by autism and other special needs to watch films together in a low-stress environment.
We lower the film’s volume, keep on dim house lights, and have a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.” Staffing levels are also increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone.
The Lindsay usually offers sensory friendly screenings of every family-friendly film we play. Recent examples include sensory friendly screenings of Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon, Zootopia 2, Hoppers and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
