The third film in this heartfelt, award-winning documentary series follows filmmaker Robert Cochrane and his father Dan Cochrane, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2001, as their community reach expands and the disease closes in. Dan struggles at times with losing pieces of himself and accepting support. Robert brings his own son, Giuseppe, as they get MVP treatment at Dodger Stadium, Petco Park and the Oakland Coliseum, among other adventures. The film explores what happens between the big moments, capturing quiet struggles, inside jokes, the value of improvisation and the unspoken weight of time passing. The doc is an active meditation on love, limits, and what it means to keep showing up. The screening will be followed by a virtual Q&A session with director and subject Robert Cochrane. This program is presented in partnership with Parkinson Foundation Western Pennsylvania.
