There will be a thought-provoking panel discussion hosted by activist, stylist and cultural writer Ajani Zanaya, and featuring filmmaker Emily Skopov; Treble NLS, an Emmy-winning musician and lead teaching artist at 1Hood Media; "Lucy and the Lake Monster" producer Jasnoor Kaur; and DeJonna Noel Williams, a Cleveland-based executive producer and vice president of Women in Film & Television Ohio. That will be followed by an unforgettable film showcase featuring "Don’t Tell Mama" (7 min.), "Edges" (4 min.), "Here Without You" (7 min.), "Lay It" (4 min.), "Maxx: Son of the Damned" (2.5 min.), "Pilgrim" (17 min.), "Pivot" (9 min.), "Purple" (7 min.), and "Will Roger" (10 min.). After the showcase, dive deeper into the creative process with a lively Q&A session with the filmmakers.
