‘Toy Story 5’ Sensory Friendly Screening
Enjoy Woody, Buzz and their friends’ latest animated adventure in an unhurried environment.
June 27 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am

The Toy Story gang is returning to the big screen for the first time in seven years. The Lindsay is ensuring that everyone can enjoy their latest animated adventure!
We’re hosting a sensory friendly screening of Toy Story 5 (rated PG) on Saturday, June 27, at 10 a.m. Tickets for this showing are on sale for our discounted rate of $8.75.
Toy Story 5, which starts playing at The Lindsay on June 19, picks up after the events of 2019’s Toy Story 4. Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and their friends are still entertaining Bonnie, while Woody (Tom Hanks) is out helping lost toys find new owners.
Woody rejoins Bonnie’s toys after their jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for kids. Will playtime ever be the same?
The Lindsay has been proudly holding sensory friendly screenings since 2017. These screenings provide an option for families, children, and adults impacted by autism and other special needs to watch films together in a low-stress environment.
We lower the film’s volume, keep on dim house lights, and have a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.” Staffing levels are also increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone.
The Lindsay usually offers sensory friendly screenings of every family-friendly film we play. Recent examples include sensory friendly screenings of How to Train Your Dragon, Zootopia 2, Hoppers, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and The Mandalorian & Grogu.
