‘Minions & Monsters’ Sensory Friendly Screening
Enjoy the minions’ latest animated shenanigans in an unhurried environment.
July 11 @ 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

The minions are back on the big screen for more kid-friendly hijinks. The Lindsay is ensuring that everyone can enjoy their latest animated adventure!
We’re hosting a sensory friendly screening of Minions & Monsters (rated PG) on Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. Tickets for this showing are on sale for our discounted rate of $8.75.
Minions & Monsters, which starts playing at The Lindsay on July 1, is the seventh film in the Despicable Me franchise. The three Minions spinoffs take place before the original Despicable Me and showcase centuries of the Minions’ lighthearted brand of chaos before meeting Gru.
Minions & Monsters reveals the story of how the Minions conquered 1920s Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world, and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.
The Lindsay has been proudly holding sensory friendly screenings since 2017. These screenings provide an option for families, children, and adults impacted by autism and other special needs to watch films together in a low-stress environment.
We lower the film’s volume, keep on dim house lights, and have a door open to restrooms and the lobby throughout the film. Trailers are eliminated to reduce the necessary “sit time.” Staffing levels are also increased to allow a personal, unhurried cinematic experience for everyone.
The Lindsay usually offers sensory friendly screenings of every family-friendly film we play. Recent examples include sensory friendly screenings of Zootopia 2, Hoppers, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu and Toy Story 5.
